The sights we see on our little street are truly amazing. This morning while we were leaving for school, we saw a mallard duck family waddling along. We counted 8 ducklings and a mama. In the last month we have watched many ducklings in the canal near our house, but never walking down our street. They even ventured out into the middle of the street as well as crossing the street. We wish them a safe journey wherever the road may take them. So sweet!
How does that mama duck get those ducklings to stay so close? I wonder what the law would call her behavior these days? Hmmmm.

I saw those ducks yesterday, too! I bet they were the same family crossing the four lane street just outside your neighborhood by the church! A man had stopped for them, but I couldn't see them until I was passing him up. I hope they got where ever they were going safely, too! (Oh, and just after that I was by Summer's house and a squirrel almost ran out in front of my car. It must have been animal day yesterday!)
