What would this year be without a little trouble on the street. A few weeks ago, our Saturn was shot with some kind of gun. I'll let you figure it out from the picture what gun makes that kind of hole. A neighbor a few doors down, who also parks on the street was also hit. What do you do? We never found the bullet. The window has been replaced. End of story, I hope.

I'm guessing a 22. A BB gun would make about the same size hole but wouldn't have the force to break the rest of the window. And any larger caliber would have left a bigger hole and/or shattered the whole window. What people will do for "fun"!
Sure it isn't a really well pumped BB gun? I guess 22s are not very loud but I would have though they would draw a lot more attention than a BB gun. Maybe the bullet is in one of the seats.
Regardless, good reason to stay in the back yard.
We can't believe that we didn't hear it. It was a very hot day, all the windows were open. It is believed to have happened between 9 and 11 at night.
Ooh, scary! And we don't live in the bad part of town!
