Brooke's cheer leading is official

The uniforms finally arrived! She couldn't wait to try it out, so she put it on over her ballet outfit. The pom poms have not arrived. The jacket has her name embroidered on it. She cheers for "Kick it Up" dance studios. Brooke will get another chance to cheer in 2011. (not shown: her team backpack and her black shoes)

Libby got a new friend

Thanks to our grandparents again, Libby went to buy an American Girl doll for her birthday (actual on the 28th). It was a beautiful store located in Beverly Hills at the Grove. Libby picked out the "Elizabeth" doll that will be going into the archives after this holiday season. Many of the pictures are of items she is still wishing for, including a flute! Since the products for the doll are quite pricey, Libby sewed her own nightgown for the doll, including her own idea of embroidery work near the neck. So creative!
