Disneyland on a Friday night

Sorry...no pictures, I was traveling light.

We did it! We made it to Disneyland with our new passes for the first time in 2010. Thanks again to our grandparents. We ate dinner before we left on the journey. So our backpack was filled with drinks, Cheetos and candy for the crew of 6. I thought it went very smoothly. It was not that crowded and our kids made it until almost 11 (when they close). Next time we plan to see the fireworks up closer instead of over by Autotopia. They have some kind of amazing show that includes the castle, fire and whatever else they have put together. Disney does everything so well. We have plans to go several more times this month, including Lee and myself going (without kids) and eating at the Blue Bayou. This Friday, Brooke will go with a few of her friends to celebrate a belated birthday. I will be sure to take some photos.

Wasn't sure if there was still a family activity that all 6 of us could do anymore, but Disneyland still has it going on. Everyone was happy. Backpack of goodies sure helped while waiting in line. Brooke had her siblings guess the color of skittle she was holding behind her back, if you guessed it correctly, she gave it to them to eat. If they didn't guess correctly, she quickly ate it herself. You can quickly figure out who was eating the majority if the skittles - but the other kids were glad to have any at all (since the skittles belonged to Brooke).

Fun times! You will have to take some pictures next time. Have fun at the Blue Bayou and let me know how the food is, I haven't eaten there before!

Actually, I think that's a pretty good game. I gotta try that sometime when I am stuck with kids (and have prepared myself!)

The Blue Bayou was great, but pricey. Maybe just dessert next time or split a meal??? Monte Cristo all the way
