Brooke's writing

I believe there are advantages of being the youngest. One of those is being told to do it yourself or you just do it yourself because nobody else is going to. Brooke doesn't bother asking me to remind her of things anymore. Nope, she has found the "post-it" notes do just the job for her.

In case you need help reading 1st grade writing:
Pink note
Don't forget to take your hair out and put this head band in your hair. To Brooke From Brooke. (I had braided her hair at night after the bath - she wanted the wavy hair do)

Blue note
This is the blue colored pencil that I was using for the monster. to Brooke. (she was completing her homework and didn't want the color to be wrong when she got back to the assignment)

Sage's New Room

I am having issues with Blogger, so my posts have been kept to a minimum.

Sage is pretty happy with her pink and green polka dot room. She loves her dolls and violin (just moved up to a 3/4).

Sage's teeth

These shots are definitely not glamour shots, but Sage had 2 teeth extracted today for orthodontic purposes. They were her cuspids. She is already back to eating normally.

Roomate from the past

Approximately, four years ago, I had a roommate from England. She played tennis and was attending CSULB. She came to visit and brought her boyfriend (also from England). We had a nice dinner and swim at my folks home across the street.

Brooke and Libby get a new room

A good summer cleaning and getting rid of Sage has given these 2 girls much more room to PLAY! Brooke is now sleeping in the top bunk (Libby has been up there for 3 years)

Perry's 13th birthday

Perry had a great time eating pizza and all he could drink Mountain Dew with a few friends. They all went to Nickel, nickel (an arcade) with Lee and then returned home for cheesecake with rasperry sauce. Perry made theeeeee best cheesecake ever. I don't even usually like it, but is was melt in your mouth good.





Perry was also excited for the many birthday wishes and presents. Thank you all.

Perry's new Green room

Perry is sleeping in his new room tonight! Thanks to the help of this great guy Pete and our entire family, it happened in about 2 weeks. When Perry returned from scout camp, he was able to paint his room (along with help from Dad and others). The floor went in today and so did everything else. Lights just went out, so tune in next time to see how Perry likes it and how the dog does too!
