Special Dance night

Why can't they just stay little? (Our King palms are blooming for the first time ever...seen in the picture below)

Sage invited Lee to be her "date" for a dinner/dance night at church. This activity was for girls ages 8 - 11. The won a prize and learned some new dance moves. I think they looked like a nice couple with matching attire.

My friendly spider, Charlotte

Charlotte is a nice spider that has decided to spin a new web each night in our backyard. She is good to us by trapping bugs and we are good to her by not touching her. It is amazing to watch her spin each night. I can't get any real good pictures of her, but I tried the video. Her webs continue to get bigger each night.

Family reunion in Arizona

These pictures were all taken with Sage's digital camera she received for her birthday. I didn't post all the pictures she took, 'cause they were mostly of Gavin. She must think he is cute, or a Ham, not sure which.

A family quilt on display at the reunion.

Picking at popcorn balls. Did anyone ever finish an entire ball?

A nice park we found near Taylor, AZ

A new friend Brooke made at the park. Actually, I think the girl was trying harder than Brooke.

Camping is fun for a night or two, but give me the running water please. The planning, the food, the family were all great! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Loveridge for making this happen.

We had a great family trip, but I think Arnold and Lisa have done wonderful jobs at posting highlights from the trip. Please refer to their blogs. Links are to the right.

Yes, we did lose a few items off our roof while going through the high winds in Palm Springs. Thankfully, we were all safe.

Libby's new look (hair and missing tooth)

Libby lost another tooth today! Now she has a larger gap than last month.

Check out her new stylish hair style. It is slightly shorter in the back to give it a fresh look. She looks all girl and soooooo cute!

Please refer to what she looked like - just last month http://theloveridgelegacy.blogspot.com/2009/05/libby-lost-tooth.html

Princess Brooke

Brooke was invited to a princess birthday party for her friend Mya. She was taken to get her nails painted at a salon, then to a cupcake bakery, and then bake to Mya's house for a play date. Brooke was asked to dress up like a princess. Of course, she thought of the dress Gma and Gpa Loveridge gave her (Sleeping Beauty). She even has the shoes that match (a little big, so we can use this costume for Halloween). You have heard of stuffing tissues in hidden places :) We used them in the toes of the shoes so they wouldn't slip off! Please enjoy the many poses of Brooke. She enjoys being in front of the camera as much as she does taking pictures.

She is a Keeper, but thank goodness for grandparents!

Clearing the Clutter

This is my life...I don't mind as much as some people :)
This is what I did today...polished the granite!
Unfortunately, I'm still looking for a place to house all the junk that was there before. Maybe it is called the Recycle Bin.

Getting Ready for Summer

Scrubbing the toys
Washing the house

Sifting the sand

Trimming the Spiky trees

School's Out! We worked as a family team this morning to get our yard and toys ready for Summer. We also worked hard at emptying our backpacks and deciding what to keep from this past school year. These are hard chores to accomplish, but doing them together made it slightly easier :) We are now ready to party. Of course, we still have projects to do...but it feels good to see what we did together.
P.S. Once the LITTLE PEOPLE were all clean, all 3 girls played with them!
